Recently, I was contacted by the producers of All Forked Up, a new food show on the Travel Channel. The host, Al Mancini, spotted my Buckin’ Bunny Tee at Tasty Space Gallery in Las Vegas and was interested in wearing one on his new show. The shirts are very rare as many of the sizes are sold out, so I was contacted to make one for him. Here’s a pic after printing, I’m told it will be seen on the Nashville episode. Giddy up!

Yesterday I did 1hr 17min on Robert Chambers’ (pictured above) comedy podcast. Among topics discussed: Art, why Advertising sucks, gluten intolerance, shitting my pants into my 30s and my fondness for Japanese tentacle porn. Should be online and highly embarrassing for all to hear this Friday!

I’ll be showing some of my art and taking part in a panel discussion at LACMA on Saturday, February 23 as part of LA Print: Edition 3, an event celebrating printmaking with notable and emerging printmakers and artists in Los Angeles. So come out, ask me questions, and enjoy a day filled with printmaking activities. It’s always a fun time so I hope to see you there!

Gave my second private art lesson today. Taught a 13-year-old how to draw dragons and he showed me how to make origami ninja stars. Rad.

Proud to have a poster I created for Public Enemy in a new book called Rock Poster Art- Sérigraphies de Concert. The text is entirely in French and features mostly American artists who helped revive the lost art of D.I.Y. screen printed posters. What sets this book apart from others is that the posters are nicely grouped according to influence. For example, my poster is amongst many gigposters featuring George W. Bush that make a political statement. Rock Poster Art- Sérigraphies de Concert is beautifully executed and the reproductions are top notch. If you speak French, or just like gigposters, the book can be purchased HERE.

On 9/11/01, Lucky Bunny was born. It’s also the day Americans willingly gave up their freedoms in exchange for a false sense of security. That day, I created a silkscreen called, ‘Hit Where It Hurts,’ because the economy was sure to tank. Here’s a reworked version I created last year for the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy. Never forget.
