“Joy Ride” Screen Print Process Pt. 1
I was recently asked to create a print with a bicycle theme for an upcoming art show in L.A. This print means a lot to me because I sold my car when moving cross country and have been navigating this giant city on a bike. Not a typical thing in L.A. but I’m enjoying it so I thought I’d share process pics with you.
Inspiration struck on the train, my bike in the foreground…

Bunny Love Pt. 5
Checking the rose test prints against my color swatch book, got it on the 3rd try…
Adding and mixing more tranparent base on screen…
Second color done and drying on rack…
Bunny Love Pt. 4

After a few rounds of mixing in transparent base and test printing I’m finally happy with the light blue…
Mixing the second color, rose…
